tEXAS LICENSED MIDWIVES

Erin Reynoso is a Texas Licensed Midwife, NARM Certified Professional Midwife and founder of Heritage Maternity Services. She is a NARM approved clinical preceptor and instructor with the Texas approved school Association of Texas Midwives, Midwives Training Program. She has been proctoring midwife interns since 2012.
"I began to study midwifery in the spring of 1999 by enrolling in the Association of Texas Midwives training program. By the end of 2002, I completed the academic & clinical training for a Texas Midwife License, proctored by five different Texas licensed midwives. I sat for and passed the North American Registry of Midwives exam in 2003 and gained Licensure in Texas. I began my practice in the fall of 2005 after caring for a friend with Parkinson's disease until her passing. My passion is to give high quality care, educating patients on best practices for maintaining normal, low risk, physiologic pregnancy, birth and lactation. So many pregnancy complications can be avoided or corrected with proper nutrition and exercise. Witnessing miracles is what I call birth. It can be unbelievably beautiful. I have been blessed to have all 7 of my children at home and have implemented all of the foundational principles I have studied over the years, each pregnancy healthier than the last. I have had one momma let me help for 9 pregnancies in a row and have learned how to minimize historic risks with improved nutrition. It is amazing what our bodies can do better if given proper tools."

“Being a part of helping mothers bring their new babies into the world is such an honor and joy for me. The process of pregnancy and delivery is amazing and powerful. I love to watch women realize they are capable of something as incredible and challenging as having a baby and supporting them through it. I feel passionate about how patient education empowers mothers in their health not only during pregnancy, but throughout their lifespan. Midwifery is deeply personal and I enjoy getting to build relationships with so many amazing families!.”

Rachel Supercinski is a Texas Licensed Midwife, Certified Professional Midwife and Certified Lactation Consultant. She and her husband have 4 children and live in College Station. We are excited to have her with us! She has been serving families in the Brazos valley for 16 years as a childbirth educator, doula and lactation consultant before adding midwifery.
"My journey to midwifery started with the birth of my first child in 2006. I had an unmedicated hospital birth, and it was an empowering experience. I felt called to help women on their journey to motherhood. I started teaching natural childbirth classes in 2008 with the Bradley Method, and then I certified as a labor doula in 2011. I helped at many births over the years while also raising my young children. In 2018, I started an internship as a lactation consultant and sat for the IBCLC exam in 2020. Midwifery has always been my dream, and I started midwifery school in 2021. It is an honor to support families through such a special time in their lives."

Hailey Elder: "Goodness, I truly feel I have been drawn to the miracle of birth as long as I can remember. As the oldest of 5 children, I was a c-section baby in the early 90s for being breech, but I got to watch my own momma advocate as she later had 4 VBACs (and one car birth!) which truly raised me to believe birth is the most wild wonderful thing. I graduated from Mississippi College in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Interpersonal and Public Communication and a minor in Psychology. I became a Birth Boot Camp doula February of 2021 and became a birth assistant later that year. After supporting and assisting many births at home, birth centers, as well as hospitals, I began midwifery school in the fall of 2023 through Mercy in Action and it continues to be an absolute honor and privilege to be a part of such holy experiences. And extra redemptive full circle moment— my first primary catch was a precious breech babe :)"

Kyla Long began her internship Jan 2024.
"My journey to midwifery began at a young age. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved babies and caring for them. As I got older, my passion to care for others began to grow and I decided I wanted to care for both mother and baby in the most natural way possible. Upon graduating high school in May of 2023, I have decided to pursue school to become a midwife."

Hi, I’m Randa and I’m so excited to be here to serve in the birth community!!! A native to California who moved to Texas 15 years ago to buy land, focusing on regenerative agriculture and continuing in the pursuit of homeschooling/life schooling our 5 children! I’m a former medical technician (CCHT, Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) for over a decade! In this patient care setting, I gained my passion for patient care and over the years, I have continued my education on the physiology and care of the body, especially leaning more towards a holistic/systems approach to the body. As a family we have learned through trial and error with our nutrition, continuing to learn more about the plant foods and animal products we eat. Growing my own herbs & vegetables and using herbs in my everyday practices, also learning to identify herbs and their properties to aid in systems of the body. After an unexpected c-section of twins in my early 20’s, my next 3 births were approached with far more vigilance to my care. Having our last 3 births be a VBAC (1), HBAC (2) with a team of midwives and students. Over the last two decades, I’ve had the pleasure of helping women with their breastfeeding journeys and encouraging them in the education & process of physiological natural birth. In 2024 I had the privilege to be a doula at a client’s birth. Heaven's call to become a midwife was a loud one, I even tried to brush it off for a bit. It seemed like this was ageless knowing that I had been here before and my call to midwifery began in early 2025 and I am sincerely humbled by the call. In my personal life, I love hanging out with my people and we are big on community gatherings in person. We love farming, lifting weights, outdoor activities, playing & singing music, doing art and we can’t forget photography! We love organizing, canning food, problem solving, reading on so many subjects and teaching & learning new skills!
