tEXAS LICENSED MIDWIVES

Erin Reynoso is a Texas Licensed Midwife, NARM Certified Professional Midwife and founder of Heritage Maternity Services.
"I began to study midwifery in the spring of 1999 by enrolling in the Association of Texas Midwives training program. By the end of 2002, I completed the academic & clinical training for a Texas Midwife License, proctored by five different Texas licensed midwives. I sat for and passed the North American Registry of Midwives exam in 2003 and gained Licensure in Texas. I began my practice in the fall of 2005 after caring for a friend with Parkinson's disease until her passing. My passion is to give high quality care, educating patients on best practices for maintaining normal, low risk, physiologic pregnancy, birth and lactation. So many pregnancy complications can be avoided or corrected with proper nutrition and exercise. Witnessing miracles is what I call birth. It can be unbelievably beautiful. I have been blessed to have all 6 of my children at home and have implemented all of the foundational principles I have studied over the years, each pregnancy healthier than the last. I have had one momma let me help for 9 pregnancies in a row and have learned how to minimize historic risks with improved nutrition. It is amazing what our bodies can do better if given proper tools."

Eva Parsons is a Texas Licensed Midwife and NARM Certified Professional Midwife.
"Midwifery has always been near and dear to my heart since I was born into the hands of a midwife, back in upstate New York! When I was a child I would page through my Mom's maternity books and ask all kinds of bizarre and nerdy questions. When I was in high school I entertained the idea of midwifery but I lived in Virginia at the time and there was no formal education program available. Instead, I studied Biology at George Mason University, with the intention of going into nursing. After graduating, I spent some years in Fairfax VA, working as a nanny and trying to figure out my lot in life. I ended up moving to New Jersey to be closer to my grandparents, later on that year began to pursue my dream to be a midwife again, and settled on a program based in Texas. I applied to the Association of Texas Midwives training program, and that following year was busy since I got married, moved to Texas a month later and the next month had our first baby! It takes a special midwife to realize that motherhood can go along with midwifery internships; and I was so blessed to find Erin up in North Bryan! I have been working alongside Erin since Feb 2016. I love to support Mamas in their journey of welcoming new life! Midwifery is such a blessing to me, I have learned so much through it, and am so grateful to be on this amazing team with Heritage Maternity Services."

“Being a part of helping mothers bring their new babies into the world is such an honor and joy for me. The process of pregnancy and delivery is amazing. I love to watch women realize they are capable of something as incredible and challenging as having a baby and supporting them through it. I also love that Midwifery is personal and that we get to build relationships with so many amazing families. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get hands on training while in school and develop friendships along the way.”

Jaylynn Cooper is a Texas Licensed Midwife and NARM Certified Professional Midwife.
"Working with Heritage Maternity Services as a midwife is a full-circle moment for me. I am a born and raised BCS native, and my midwifery journey first began at seventeen years old when Erin Reynoso allowed me to shadow her at my first homebirth. Needless to say, I was in complete awe, and a passion was born in me that night that birth could be better. I began midwifery school at age 18 and graduated through the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program in January 2020.
Upon graduation and licensure, I worked in a very busy birthing center in the greater Houston area for three years and participated in over 300 deliveries during that time. After getting married and finding out I was pregnant shortly after, my husband and I knew the busy schedule was not for us any longer and began making plans to return to the Brazos Valley. After welcoming our daughter with the Heritage team by our side, it was an easy yes to join this wonderful group of women as we pioneer great things for midwifery and women’s health together. I love being a midwife, and believe that through comprehensive prenatal care, proper nutrition, and a personal patient/provider relationship pregnancy and birth can truly be a healing and wonderful journey."
mIDWIFE INTERNS

Rachel Supercinski began an internship with Heritage Maternity Services at the beginning of 2023. We are excited to have her with us!
"My journey to midwifery started with the birth of my first child in 2006. I had an unmedicated hospital birth, and it was an empowering experience. I felt called to help women on their journey to motherhood. I started teaching natural childbirth classes in 2008 with the Bradley Method, and then I certified as a labor doula in 2011. I helped at many births over the years while also raising my young children. In 2018, I started an internship as a lactation consultant and sat for the IBCLC exam in 2020. Midwifery has always been my dream, and I started midwifery school in 2021. It is an honor to support families through such a special time in their lives."
